2024-25 Youth Leadership Award Application

The Miami Lakes Youth Leadership Award is awarded to one high school senior every year. The award is presented by the Town of Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force, a committee created by the Mayor and Town Council with a goal of exploring the development of positive activities for the Town’s youth. The student must live within Miami Lakes or go to a Miami Lakes school and have made a difference in their community through community service and/or advocacy. Any student who does any type of community service (school clubs, passion project, church, nonprofit organization, etc.) qualifies. Although there is no minimum GPA or community service hour requirement, GPAs and hours of community service will be considered in the application process. The applicants must graduate high school in 2025 and be a senior for the entire 2024-2025 school year.
