The Youth Activities Task Force of Miami Lakes invites you to have a hoppin’ time at the annual Spring Fling Easter Egg Hunt event!

At this free spring-time event, you will find a morning of laughs and family time with our family-favorite egg hunt. The egg hunt will take place at 10:30 AM—please note, there will only be one hunt during the event.

Stick around for music, a festive photo booth, and tasty eats from local food trucks!

Join the Parks & Recreation Department as we celebrate Arbor Day with the ceremonial planting of a Cathedral Live Oak!

Come together with friends, family, and neighbors to honor the importance of trees in our community and environment. Enjoy light snacks and refreshments as we mark this special occasion with nature and community spirit.

Come skate with Town of Miami Lakes and 2 instructors from the nonprofit organization SkateFree for a morning of fun!

Must bring your own equipment. Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, and roller-skates welcome! All the skating fun is free and will be on the Town’s new portable skatepark features. This event will be held on the Picnic Park East basketball court, near the Miami Lakes Youth Center. This event welcomes children and teens between the ages of 5 and 16.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, bringing together people of all faiths to pray for our nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.

Discover how to transform ordinary glass items into beautiful hand-painted creations! Wine glasses and mason jars will be provided, or feel free to bring your own piece to personalize. Plus, learn more about the library’s wide range of services for older adults. Space is limited, so be sure to register in advance. Presented by the Miami-Dade Public Library System.

On May 10, join us at the Miami Lakes Farmers Market to honor your mother, or any other influential woman in your life, with a work of art!

Starting at 10 a.m., this event will let you put your artistic abilities to use in time for this year’s Mother’s Day. Note that registrations for this event are for the participating child only—accompanying adults should not create their own registration.
