Introducing CivicRec: The New Home for Recreation in Miami Lakes

Introducing CivicRec: The New Home for Recreation in Miami Lakes

July 26, 2023

Miami Lakes, F.L. – In an effort to streamline recreational enjoyment, reservations, and programming, the Town of Miami Lakes is pleased to announce that, starting August 1, recreation youth and adult programming, and more will run through CivicRec—an all-in-one Parks and Recreation solution. Residents can preview the new software and recreation website by visiting miamilakes-fl.gov/parkres.

We are very excited to be utilizing CivicRec, as it shows a major step forward in enhancing community engagement and well-being through parks and recreation programs, athletics, and more,” says Jeremy Bajdaun, Parks and Recreation Director for the Town of Miami Lakes. He adds that “Staff has spent a good amount of time in training and learning the new system to not only assist our residents transition but also in learning about future applications we will be able to leverage over time.”

To aid in this exciting transition to our new platform, accounts created with the previous recreation software, etrak, will have their accounts automatically transitioned to CivicRec, though you may be asked to reset account credentials. We look forward to continuing to improve the experience of Miami Lakes recreation! For more information regarding recreation and the brand new system, contact John Yanes at yanesj@miamilakes-fl.gov
