The Town Council meets monthly to discuss and vote on official town business. The Town Council is made up of the Mayor and 6 Councilmembers, all elected by residents. Members of the public are welcome to provide public comments, in-person or online. You can find instructions and information on providing public comments here. The Neighborhood Improvement Committee is to recommend, promote, and create projects and activities that will beautify and improve all its neighborhoods in collaborative and comprehensive manner. It shall also promote efforts that encourage a physically active, sustainable, and engaged community in Miami Lakes. The Neighborhood Improvement Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 8:00 p.m., subject to change.
