Community Service Park Clean Up

The Town of Miami Lakes and its Youth Center Council invite Miami Lakes teens to take pride in your community!
Part of the National Environmental Education Foundation’s National Public Lands Day (NPLD), the Town and its Youth Council is sponsoring a Town Park Clean Up on Saturday, September 30th. Volunteers will meet at the Mary Collins Community Center located at 15151 NW 82nd Avenue drive at 10 AM. The Town Moover will transport volunteers around Town to clean up various local neighborhood parks until 1 pm; lunch will be provided.
NPLD is the nation's largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands. From our neighborhood parks and beaches to our nation’s awe-inspiring national parks, public lands of all sizes and varieties are the places where we live, learn, play, exercise, and relax. Now it’s your turn to give back!
Bring your family, friends, students, or coworkers to spend the day outdoors giving back to your community. Your work will help ensure Miami Lakes continues “growing beautifully” to be enjoyed by generations to come!
Bring your friends and don’t miss out on this great opportunity to rack up those community service hours!
Registration is required. To register or for more information about programming at the Town’s Youth Center “The Spot”, please contact thespot@miamilakes-fl.gov or visit www.miamilakes-fl.gov/thespot.
