The Town of Miami Lakes and its Elderly Affairs Committee are offering free field trips for residents 55 years and above. The next field trip is scheduled for Saturday, March 12th to the Sinatra exhibit at the HistoryMiami Museum.
In celebration of Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday, HistoryMiami Museum will feature Sinatra: An American Icon, a multi-media exhibition exploring the life of the multiple GRAMMY Award winner. The exhibition, curated by the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles, traces 100 years of Sinatra’s career and impact on American culture, from Hoboken, N.J., through superstardom.
Transportation is provided to and from Town Hall. The bus will depart from Town Hall at 10am. Space is limited; reservations are required. To reserve seating on the bus, please contact Clarisell De Cardenas, Special Events & Committees Coordinator, at decardenasc@miamilakes-fl.gov or (305) 364-6100. Reservations open on March 1st and remain open until all seats are filled.
