Town Adds Tesla Vehicles to Freebee Fleet, Expanding Accessible Transportation Options

Miami Lakes, F.L. – The Town of Miami Lakes is excited to announce the addition of Tesla vehicles to our local Freebee lineup. This expansion project, made possible through the $203,500 Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Public Transit Service Development Program Grant, reinforces the Town's commitment to providing residents and visitors with convenient, low-impact, and reliable transportation options.

Renée Wilson, Grants and Governmental Affairs Manager for the Town of Miami Lakes, spoke on the importance of this secured initiative thanking FDOT "for their grant funding partnership", and praising the utility of the vehicles that bring an opportunity to the Town to "maximize Freebee transportation services, and look real good doing it!"
