Miami Lakes Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Miami Lakes, F.L. – The Town of Miami Lakes is excited to officially celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. This annual celebration, which runs from September 15 to October 15, holds special significance in our town due to its rich Hispanic makeup and heritage.

Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor the countless contributions that Hispanic and Latino Americans have made to our nation's history, culture, and achievements. This heritage—one we find strong and vibrant in Miami-Dade County—is a source of strength and unity that enriches our community and makes Miami Lakes a truly exceptional place to live, work, and visit. To celebrate this occasion, the Town and its Cultural Affairs Committee is hosting a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration event, titled 'Discovering Spain'. At this event, you will find food thanks to El Pimiento Restaurant, music, socializing, education, and more. Come experience Spain with us on October 14 at 6:00pm at the Miami Lakes Town Hall!
