The Town of Miami Lakes will be hosting a free sand distribution and self-bagging event on October 8 beginning at 9:00 AM at Royal Oaks Park (16500 NW 87th Avenue). Attendees must bring their own bags and may fill no more than ten (10) sandbags.

The Town of Miami Lakes will be hosting a free sand distribution and self-bagging event on October 8 beginning at 9:00 AM at Royal Oaks Park (16500 NW 87th Avenue).
Attendees must bring their own bags and may fill no more than ten (10) sandbags. Nylon bag alternatives can include readily-accessible items such as garbage bags or pillowcases.
This sand distribution is open to Miami Lakes residents only, while supplies last, and residents must show proof of residency by way of a government-issued ID or utility bill. Staff will be on-site for residents that may need assistance.
