Come skate with Town of Miami Lakes and 2 instructors from the nonprofit organization SkateFree for a morning of fun!

Must bring your own equipment. Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, and rollerskates welcome! All the skating fun is free and will be on the Town’s new portable skatepark features. This event will be held on the Picnic Park East basketball court, near the Miami Lakes Youth Center.

Transportation will be provided for all registered participants from Town Hall.

The Miami Lakes Elderly Affairs Committee presents the 2025 Health & Wellness Fair, a special event dedicated to supporting our senior community’s well-being. Attendees can access health screenings, including pulse rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and glucose, along with valuable resources and expert advice for a healthier life. Committed to enriching the lives of elderly residents, the committee ensures Miami Lakes remains a place where seniors thrive.
