2024 General Election Runoff

A runoff election for the Town Mayoral seat will take place on November 26. Voters assigned to Precinct 307 (Miami Lakes United Methodist Church, 14800 Ludlam Rd) will be temporarily assigned to vote at Precinct 308 (Miami Lakes K-8 Center, 14250 NW 67 Ave) for the November 26 runoff election. Melissa Hernandez, the Town’s Budget Officer and the Employee of the Year for 2022, is a proud custodian of the Town’s taxpayer dollars and strives to ensure that your hard-earned money is used and allocated in accordance with the needs and priorities of Miami Lakers, our elected officials, and administration.

Don Piquion, our Information Technology specialist from Lansight Technology and the 2022 Employee-Vendor of the Year, works to see that the Town is able to operate smoothly in a technologically-reliant world. Always there to give you a smile, he also provides a needed sense of urgency and professionalism.
