Annual Park Winter Maintenance

Miami Lakes, FL – The Town of Miami Lakes will be performing annual maintenance to the athletic fields at Royal Oaks Park and Miami Lakes Optimist Park beginning December 16, 2024 through January 20, 2024. During this period, athletic turf fields will be closed.

Resident will have access to one area at Miami Lakes Optimist Park north of the basketball courts for play in addition to the perimeter berm area for exercise. One field may be left open on a rotating basis. At Royal Oaks Park, residents may take advantage of the open play field area, the green space east of the picnic shelters, and the walking trail. Pick-up games and other non-organized activities are encouraged to take place of the open play field areas at Royal Oaks Park.

The Town greatly appreciates the cooperation of all its users in working together to preserve and improve the conditions of Royal Oaks Park and Miami Lakes Optimist Park.
