The project includes the planning, design, and construction of a bridge and roadway improvements to extend NW 59th Ave over the C-8 Canal (Canal #870609) south to the NW 151st St. In addition, the project includes a Complete Streets improvement to NW 151 St /NW 153rd St to facilitate traffic flow at the bridge spine connection.
Affected Streets:
NW 59 AVE from NW 158 ST to NW 151 ST
NW 151 ST/NW 153 ST from Miami Lakeway North to NW 57 CT
The project is currently funded through a combination of HUD CPF Grant, FDOT State-funded Grant (State Appropriations), CIGP Grant, PTP, Road Impact Fees, and the Local Option Fuel Tax.
