2024 General Election Runoff

A runoff election for the Town Mayoral seat will take place on November 26. Voters assigned to Precinct 307 (Miami Lakes United Methodist Church, 14800 Ludlam Rd) will be temporarily assigned to vote at Precinct 308 (Miami Lakes K-8 Center, 14250 NW 67 Ave) for the November 26 runoff election. Declaration of a State of Emergency for the Town of Miami Lakes

Miami Lakes, FL – Today, Town Manager Edward Pidermann officially declared a State of Emergency in Miami Lakes due to the forecasted effects of Hurricane Milton, to allow for a greater access to potential response efforts before and after the storm.

Pursuant to Section 2-204, of the Town of Miami Lakes, Code of Ordinances, the Town Manager has the sole authority to Declare a State of Emergency to invoke emergency powers necessary to protect the life, health and safety of Town residents.
