Veterans Parade Grand Marshal Nomination Form

Thank you for expressing your interest in nominating the Grand Marshal for the Town of Miami Lakes 45th Annual Veterans Day Parade!

Town of Miami Lakes will be honoring Veterans on Sunday, November 3, 2024; the longest running Veteran’s Day Parade in all of Miami-Dade County. This patriotic tribute honors those who have served our country, and those who are actively serving today. Applications due on Monday, October 7, 2024.

Grand Marshal Selection Criteria

Proof of Honorable Service in the Armed Forces is required. This includes the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard.
Nominee must be a resident in good standing in the community.
Nominees should be persons who have displayed outstanding service, pride and commitment to the community, county, state and/or country.
Nominees should be able and willing to carry out the function of the Grand Marshal for the Parade.
