Sports Hall of Fame Committee Accepting Nominations for 2024 Class

Miami Lakes, FL — The Miami Lakes Sports Hall of Fame (“Hall”) was created to honor athletes, coaches, community members, and teams from the Town of Miami Lakes for their outstanding contribution or achievement in sport.

The Sports Hall of Fame Committee (“Committee”), which oversees the nomination process, vetting, and induction of Hall classes, is accepting nominations for its 2024 Class until August 1 at 5 p.m. Any individual or association may submit a nomination for a qualifying athlete, builder, coach, or community member, and/or team, subject to review by the Committee and final approval by the Town Council.

The 2024 Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place December 14 at 6 p.m. at the Miami Lakes Optimist Clubhouse. More information on the nomination process can be found by visiting the Sports Hall of Fame Committee page by visiting miamilakes-fl.gov/shof or clicking here.
