2024 General Election Runoff

A runoff election for the Town Mayoral seat will take place on November 26. Voters assigned to Precinct 307 (Miami Lakes United Methodist Church, 14800 Ludlam Rd) will be temporarily assigned to vote at Precinct 308 (Miami Lakes K-8 Center, 14250 NW 67 Ave) for the November 26 runoff election. Blasting Advisory Board to Present During Florida House Workshop

Miami Lakes, FL – On February 6, 2024 the Florida House of Representatives Regulatory Reform and Economic Development Subcommittee will be holding a workshop and panel discussion on construction mining materials blasting issues. Members of the Miami Lakes Blasting Advisory Board will be presenting items in support of Rep. Tom Fabricio’s HB 245.

“The fact is this is the first time in history the issue has made such strides to find an equitable solution to coexist with our neighbors”, said Blasting Advisory Board Chair Miguel Martinez. Martinez will be joined by the Board’s Secretary, Steven Herzberg.
