Mayor Joins Local Performing Arts School for Family Fun Day

Miami Lakes, FL - Mayor Michael Pizzi joined the Rhythm & Pitch School of Performing Arts on Saturday, May 4th for “Family Fun Day”. Located in the Miami Lakes Commerce Center, the school is the first ensemble-based music school in the area. Founded in 2010 by John Harding Normandin, Rhythm & Pitch School of Music constitutes a unique model of cooperation between public and private sectors. Its purpose is to enhance the local Miami-Dade County Public School music programs by offering instrumental and vocal private lessons, group classes and instrumental ensembles to the children during after school hours.
