The Town of Miami Lakes Youth Center‘s “The Spot” opened in November 2015. This state-of-the-art 4,000 square-foot facility consists of multipurpose activity rooms and classrooms for after school educational programs and tutoring, a quiet area for studying, active area with games and televisions, and an outdoor patio with a lounge area.

Town's Youth Center "The Spot" featured in FRPA Journal

Miami Lakes, FL - We are pleased to announce the Town of Miami Lakes Youth Center’s “The Spot” has been selected to be featured in this year’s Florida Recreational Park Association Facility Showcase Journal (FRPA).

The Town of Miami Lakes Youth Center‘s “The Spot” opened in November 2015. This state-of-the-art 4,000 square-foot facility consists of multipurpose activity rooms and classrooms for after school educational programs and tutoring, a quiet area for studying, active area with games and televisions, and an outdoor patio with a lounge area.

The building and park has access to FREE Wi-Fi. In addition, the Youth Center is equipped with a billiard table, table tennis, indoor basketball shootout game, Amazon Kindles, Microsoft Xbox One Console, and Insignia Flex Tables. Other amenities include a half basketball court, central outdoor courtyard, and a playground.
