Miami Lakes, FL - The Cultural Affairs Committee presents a Classic Film showing event on Saturday, November 19th beginning at 7 PM at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West, 15151 NW 82nd Avenue. Based on your responses to our survey, we will be showing the Academy Award winning Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
This free event, sponsored in part by Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr., is perfect for the whole family! Be sure to bring your blankets, chairs and picnic baskets to enjoy this classic 1961 American romantic comedy starring Audrey Hepburn in her portrayal of Holly Golightly.
Unfortunately, the original film that was chosen through the survey (Breakfast at Tiffany’s) will not play due to Paramount Pictures withdrawing the license to view in public arenas.
Runner up Casablanca will be shown instead:
Academy Award winning 1942 American romantic drama film starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Paul Henreid
