Town Launches Commuter Travel Pattern Survey
Miami Lakes, FL - The Town of Miami Lakes is excited to announce that it will deploy a web-based Commuter Travel Pattern Survey to local business owners on Wednesday, May 15th. The results will help the Town reduce traffic congestion and improve our transportation system.
Business owners are being asked to encourage their employees to participate by providing information about how they get to work. Survey responses are strictly confidential and will only be used to develop future transportation strategies. Those who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing for a gift card valued from $25 to $200.
"The results of the Commuter Travel Pattern survey will help the Town enhance economic development by reducing traffic congestion and improving our transportation system," said Mayor Michael Pizzi.
Funding for this survey is provided by a grant through the Metropolitan Planning Organization, and results will be shared with the regional transportation partners.
