Community Members Recognized for Their Dedication and Achievements

Miami Lakes, FL -At the July Council Meeting, several community members were recognized for their accomplishments and community support.

The Town’s Youth Center Council and youth volunteers participated in the Take Pride in Your Community! Town Park Clean Up Day on Saturday, June 18th. Part of the “I Heart Miami Lakes” campaign, volunteers met at the Youth Center and the Town Moover bus transported volunteers around Town to clean up various local neighborhood parks.

The Mayor and Council also recognized the Town’s Cultural Affairs Committee on their successful Fourth of July Concert and Fireworks Show held at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West. This fun-filled event for the whole family has been the Town’s signature event for 13 years and features live entertainment and food trucks, followed by our spectacular fireworks presentation.
