The Town of Miami Lakes is excited to launch the I <3 Miami Lakes campaign. An initiative brought forth by Councilman Tony Lama, this campaign is intended to encourage residents to take pride in their community. Encouraging pride in our community is essential for achieving the quality of life desired by our residents. Whether it be supporting local businesses, volunteering, or lending a neighbor a helping hand, civic pride results in community improvement.
We're encouraging all of you! Neighbors, local officials, service clubs and religious organizations all must play a role to foster strong civic pride and remind us that civic pride is often about 'doing the little things' that make a big difference.
To kick off the campaign, we’re asking residents to submit or post to social media photos that depict your favorite place or thing to do in Miami Lakes. You can submit these photos to us by:
- Tagging the Town on social media
- Facebook: Town of Miami Lakes
- Twitter: @Miamilakesnews
- Instagram: Town_of_Miami_Lakes
- Send photos via email to email@example.com
Be sure to use our official hashtag #iheartmiamilakes and tell us why you "heart" Miami Lakes.
