Town Seeking Teens to Become Members of the First Ever Youth Council

Miami Lakes, FL -Middle and High School students- Have you ever wanted to be a part of something that makes a difference in the community? Do you think you have the skills and qualities to govern the future of the Town’s new Youth Center? “The Spot” at the Miami Lakes Youth Center is looking for self-driven leaders between the ages of 11-17 who wish to be a part of our new Youth Council. This Youth Center Council will provide participants with the opportunities to assume leadership roles, while building valuable skills that will carry into adulthood. The Youth Center Council will meet monthly to discuss the overall progress of the Youth Center, and discuss ideas for field trip locations, community service events, and future programming.
