Community Meeting Hosted by the Town's Neighborhood Improvement
Committee to Discuss Town's Strategic Plan

Miami Lakes, FL - The Town and its Neighborhood Improvement Committee (NIC) will host a Community Forum at 7 pm on Thursday, January 21 inside Council Chambers at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street, in Miami Lakes.

The meeting will include a presentation of the Town’s Strategic Plan by Assistant Town Manager, Andrea Agha. The Plan includes strategies the Town is pursuing to increase mobility as well as economic development through the enhancement of the vibrant community hubs and activity centers for all ages. The strategic plan also places emphasis on augmenting the Town’s signature beauty and park landscapes while striving to achieve environmental sustainability. Miami Lakes is continually working to achieve better communication, transparency, and public participation on all issues. Mrs. Agha will also explain how to the Town of Miami Lakes will work toward national recognition as a “model Town” for creativity, innovation, and use of technology.

The mission of the Town of Miami Lakes NIC is to recommend, promote, and create projects and activities that will beautify and improve all its neighborhoods in a collaborative and comprehensive manner. NIC also promotes efforts that encourage a physically active, sustainable, and engaged community in Miami Lakes.
