Drivetime Opens Its Doors In Miami Lakes 
 

Miami Lakes, FL - On April 1st, the Town Council unanimously approved a request for the final plat of Miami Lakes Fire Rescue Station Number 64. The future site of the new Fire Rescue Station is on the corner of Northwest 154th Street and 77th Court. The Miami Lakes Fire Rescue Station Number 64 is slated to be fully operational by 2014.

“I want to thank Miami Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez and Commissioner Esteban Bovo for pushing this forward,” said Mayor Michael Pizzi. “This fire station will alleviate response time and help save lives.”

Councilman Nelson Rodriguez, a long time fire-fighter made the motion to approve the final plat, Mayor Pizzi seconds his motion. The resolution unanimously passed.
