Miami Lakes, FL - The Town Council attended the Miami Lakes Bar Association’s (MLBA) 10th Year Anniversary Celebration on Jan. 23 inside the Dolfan Room at Don Shula’s Steakhouse in Miami Lakes.
More than 70 people attended the event, where Vice Mayor Cid presented a Proclamation declaring Jan. 23, 2015 as “Miami Lakes Bar Association Day”.
"I commend the Miami Lakes Bar Association for 10 strong years of service to our community," Vice Mayor Manny Cid said. "The MLBA are defenders of the legal community in Northwest Dade as they also ensure equal access to justice for all via their pro bono work."
Founded in 2005, the Miami Lakes Bar Association is a non-profit voluntary bar association, whose mission includes to promote equality; serve the public interest; preserve high standards of integrity, honor and professional courtesy; and build close relationships among MLBA members. The Association also develops and offers a variety of legal educational programs and provides mentoring opportunities for young lawyers.
