Miami Lakes, FL - Town Council welcomed Hope for Autism United Soccer Foundation to Miami Lakes by joining its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting celebration on Jan. 16 at its new location off Wellness Way, 15165 NW 77th Avenue.
Hope for Autism United Soccer Foundation is a program that teaches soccer skills to children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related developmental issues, while providing a supportive environment that encourages a life-long love of exercise.
"We are extremely happy that Autism Soccer chose Miami Lakes as their home," Vice Mayor Manny Cid said. "Soccer therapy has shown positive results for individuals with Autism and related disorders."
