Town's Holiday Toy Drive Brings Joy to Those Less Fortunate

Miami Lakes, FL- More than 450 new, unwrapped toys were collected, for this year’s Holiday Toy Drive in the Town of Miami Lakes. 

The Toy Drive, spearheaded by Councilman Tim Daubert, benefitted the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program which aims to ensure less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas.

Donations came from residents, business owners, Town staff and attendees of the Holiday Senior Social. Two large donations came from one Miami Lakes business and one resident who collected at her job.

National Molding, Inc. representatives Robert C. Rodriguez and Andres Arcia came with a truck full of a 100 plus toys and resident Victoria Collins collected more than 100 toys at her place of employment, Cardinal Health in Westchester.

The Town of Miami Lakes graciously thanks all those who donated toys and wishes everyone a Happy Holiday Season!
