New GPS System Allows Residents to Track Location of Town Buses

Miami Lakes, FL - The Town of Miami Lakes is pleased to announce the arrival of a new GPS tracking system for the Town’s free bus system called the Miami Lakes Moover.

This new GPS system will make ridership easier by allowing residents to view the location and arrival information of both the East and West routes of the Miami Lakes Moover in real time during the morning circulation from 6 am to 10 am and the afternoon circulation from 2:15 pm to 7 pm.

Riders will no longer have to wait at the bus stops but simply check the status of the bus on their phones. This new system includes online tracking, mobile tracking with smartphone apps for iPhones and Android phones, and texting and calling features for up-to-date information.

“As we continue improving on our traffic issues, this bus tracker will encourage more of our residents to leave their cars at home and use our new buses,” Town of Miami Lakes Councilman Nelson Rodriguez said.

Detailed route and arrival information is available at www.tracker.MLMoover.com. Residents can also call (305)771-0690 and enter their stop number or text “Mover stop#” (example: Mover 101) to 41411 for detailed arrival information. The system also provides stop location information to assist riders in using the Moover. For more information, visit www.MLMoover.com or call Ryan Shedd at (305) 364-6100 ext. 1145.
