Volunteer Program

From time to time the Town of Miami Lakes seeks volunteers to help with events, activities, and programs related to the Town.

Please fill out the form below and submit it to Ashley Shepple at shepplea@miamilakes-fl.gov. Please note, the Town requires the Volunteer Registration Form be submitted prior to volunteering at Town events. All Volunteer opportuntiies are provided on a first come, first served basis. Thank you for your interest in supporting our community.

National Public Lands Day Park Clean-Up (Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 NW 82nd Avenue)

Saturday, September 30th from 10:00 am to 1:00pm

Annual Halloween Event: Nightmare on Montrose

High school volunteers are wanted for the frightful annual Halloween event. Nightmare on Montrose, is a FREE event organized by the Town of Miami Lakes and its Youth Activities Task Force and will be held on Saturday, October 28th at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West, 15151 NW 82nd Avenue (Montrose Road).
Volunteers who attend all of the following volunteer opportunities will receive 75 hours of community service. The introduction meeting will be held on Friday September 29th beginning at 6pm at Mary Collins Community Center (MCCC), 15151 NW 82nd Avenue.

All future volunteer opportunities will be held from 6-8pm at MCCC:
Friday October 6th 6pm-8pm
Friday October 27th 6pm-8pm
Saturday October 28th 10am-11pm (tentative)
