Forever Honoring Roberto Alonso

Miami Lakes, FL -  On Saturday, January 25th, the Town of Miami Lakes will honor the Town's first Vice Mayor Roberto Alonso by renaming the community center at Royal Oaks Park the "Roberto Alonso Community Center". The ceremony will begin at 10am, followed by the unveiling of the designation. Former Vice Mayor Alonso was a strong advocate for the planning and development of Royal Oaks Park and best known for championing the vision, creation, and development of the Park and Community Center.
