Town Seeks Resident Input on Proposed Beautification Master Plan

Miami Lakes, FL -  The Town of Miami Lakes is known for its beautiful tree lined streets, parks, and green spaces. With a commitment to become the most uniformly beautiful municipality in South Florida and incorporating our "Growing Beautifully" brand, the Town is looking to embark on a renewed urban beautification effort to reach this goal. To finalize that effort, the Town is seeking YOUR input on what should be the Town's look for the future.

The purpose of the master plan is to serve as a vision and guidance as to what and how the physical environment within the Town should appear. The master plan addresses issues including median planting improvements, pocket/neighborhood park beautification, gateways, crosswalk beautification and other Right-of-Way improvements typical of most street scape beautification projects. The complete master plan concept plan can be found on the Town's website at www.miamilakes-fl.gov/beautification.

The Town will be hosting a town hall meeting on Saturday, December 7 at 10 am at the Miami Lakes Government Center Council Chambers, 6601 Main Street to solicit your input on the plan and receive input on the options shown here.

If you are unable to attend, we welcome your input via email at bmp@miamilakes-fl.gov. Please include your name, address, and contact phone number within the body of your email with your preferred options. You may also contact us via phone and inform us of your preferred options at 305-364-6100 x 1132 or visit us at the Government Center, 6601 Main Street, Room 208, to leave your feedback.

We look forward to receiving your feedback and your assistance in helping the Town continue "Growing Beautifully".
