Ships Ahoy! Town Teams up Again This Year with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary to Offer Boating Safely Classes

Miami Lakes, FL - Permission to come aboard for the Town of Miami Lakes and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary boating safely classes! The classes are taught by experienced instructors who are committed to the highest standards of the U.S. Coast Guard.

The class is $25 per person and includes a FREE manual. The courses will cover the following topics:

- Know your boat

- Before you get underway

- Navigating the waterways

- Operating your vessel safely

- Boating emergencies and what to do

- Enjoying water sports with your boat

 

The courses will be held from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

• Saturday, January 20th at Roberto Alonso Community Center, 16500 NW 87th Ave

• Saturday, February 24th at Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 NW 82nd Ave
