243px-All-America City LogoAt the November 7th Council Meeting, Hialeah-Miami Lakes High School’s (HML) former football coach and educator for 36 years, Michael Uspensky, was recognized for his accomplishments and his support of the youth in our community.During college, Coach Uspensky had the pleasure of being apart of the University of Florida’s Gators football team and graduated with pride. In 1972, he began his career in education at HML, where he went on to be not only an Physical and Drivers Education teacher and guidance counselor, but also the head football coach from 1978 to 1993.

Coach Michael Uspensky Recognized At The November Council Meeting

Miami Lakes, FL –At the November 7th Council Meeting, Hialeah-Miami Lakes High School’s (HML) former football coach and educator for 36 years, Michael Uspensky, was recognized for his accomplishments and his support of the youth in our community.

During college, Coach Uspensky had the pleasure of being apart of the University of Florida’s Gators football team and graduated with pride. In 1972, he began his career in education at HML, where he went on to be not only an Physical and Drivers Education teacher and guidance counselor, but also the head football coach from 1978 to 1993. He led HML to several state championships and won the football district championship in 1990. Coach Uspensky has sent over 200 young gentlemen to go on to play for several college football leagues, as well as the national football league; including Don Baily Jr., Michael, Timpson, Devin Bush, Davin Bush, and Ryan Collins.
